Most of us have heard about the effects overfishing, pollution, and climate change are having on the world’s oceans.
It’s time for some good news.
Carl introduces us to marine biologists, fishermen, fisheries scientists, conservationists, and activists who are helping fish populations to rebound, bringing endangered species back from the brink and creating hope for today’s oceans.
Now airing on PBS, Saving the Ocean is composed of half-hour episodes, tailored to weekend and early evening broadcasts. The first two episodes, aired in 2011, are Shark Reef and Sacred Island.
