Annual Benefit Gala

We make a big splash every year!

2012 marks our 9th year of benefit galas in New York City. Each one has been a celebration of the Institute’s work, our friends and key supporters. Blue Ocean aims to reach a global, diverse audience with our message about the changing ocean, its challenges, practical solutions, and the need to restore living abundance to the seas.

This year’s gala was scheduled for November 1st at NYC’s South Street Seaport. Due to damage from Hurricane Sandy, we had to cancel the event.
