Alison Becker-Lindner – Staff Member
Assistant to the President
Alison Becker-Lindner joined Blue Ocean Institute in early 2011 as assistant to Dr. Carl Safina. A vegetarian since age 12, Alison’s love of animals and nature brought her to Blue Ocean Institute.
Prior to joining Blue Ocean Institute, Alison was a publicist at the March of Dimes. And previous to that, she managed the corporate volunteer program and marketing department at Safe Horizon, a women’s and children’s advocacy organization. Alison received a B.A. in Political Science from Fordham University.
In her free time, Alison rescues and cares for stray cats. Alison, her husband, their adorable daughter, Emerson and five resced cats live in the New York Metro area.
